Who won the famous mirrorball trophy?

The Final 3

Was it J.R., Ricki, or Rob?

Dancing With the Stars just wrapped up it’s 13th season.

Did Ricki Lake, the front runner, walk away with the top prize?

Or was it the fan favorite J.R. Martinez?

Or did the dark horse, Rob Kardashian, come behind to win it all?

The finale included two songs from Lady Antebellum, recaps from the previous weeks, former contestants, and one more time for the three remaining finalists to add to their scores.

Ricki danced the foxtrot with Derek from Halloween night.  The judges loved it, and Carrie Ann Inaba said it was “beyond perfect.”  Score: 30.  Total: 84

Rob chose the foxtrot he dedicated to his dad earlier in the season.  Mom Kris Jenner was in tears. The judges praised him, despite his small slip up.  Score: 26.  Total: 83

J.R. danced the jive from Week 2, but they made some minor changes.  Carrie Ann said, “You are a such catalyst for joy,” but noted some mistakes.  Len Goodman liked it, and Bruno Tolioni said it was “fun, fun, fun.”  Score: 28.  Total: 82.

Elimination time.  Ricki is out.

Then it was time for some flashbacks from the previous weeks.  Most of the contestants performed dances they did in the competition.  However, Carson Kressley danced to “Vogue” by Madonna.  He wanted to dance with a Chmerkovskiy.  Chaz Bono did a number with his partner, Lacey Schwimmer, and her dad, Buddy Schwimmer.

Before the winner was announced, Rob and J.R. faced off one more time.  They both performed a samba to Ricky Martin’s “Shake Your Bon-Bon.”  The judges gave both couples a 30.

So who was the last couple standing?

J.R. Martinez and his partner Karina Smirnoff were crowned the new champions.
